about

To fight the dreary days of winter I recorded a cheery pop song in my bedroom. Thought it would only be fitting to share it on this year's first day of snow.

lyrics

LYRICS:

‘My paltry patience,’ you said, ‘is going to be the death of me.’

‘A bit of snow won’t kill you,’ I said with a smile, but you just looked away and up to the sky.

‘Oh, what a perfect ending for such a wasted waste of space.... Cold - it’s freezing out here and I’m so goddamn listless.‘

As you stood you laughed and shook your head, found a frozen brick and walked back to your window, and as the shattered glass fell to the sill, I couldn’t help but hope this comes to something someday. Somehow.

We shed our cold damp clothes and ran up to your room, and underneath the sheets our freezing hands met and you said, ‘All we are is all we are.’
